MANNERS AND OBEDIENCE

It’s never too early or too late to learn good Manners and Obedience!

Our approach starts with exactly where you are with your dog and ends with a more symbiotic relationship from the consistency, patience and perseverance you put into sessions and homework.

We set a training plan after the initial evaluation to prioritize goals before we get started.

BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION

Did your dog detour into some mischief ?

We will navigate the journey by identifying what’s behind the behavior and outline steps to help the dog find a replacement behavior.

An evaluation will be helpful as a foundational element to a new and effective training plan and if it’s fear/anxiety related, we focus specifically on desensitization and counter-conditioning and work in partnership with your veterinarian if necessary for medical guidance.

OFF LEASH RECALL

Once the foundations are met for K9 good citizenship, you and your dog have the opportunity to acquire the training to meet criteria for the Boulder Open Spaces Voice and Sight Tag. At that point your doggie athlete can have safe, off-leash access to the beautiful Boulder open spaces that are open to recall-trained dogs.

There are options to refine your retrievers skills, teach swimming in the lakes and train agility basics if your dog has a higher need for mental and physical exercise.
